Leadership

President and founder John McGraw PhD MSc has a forward-looking vision for bringing growth and innovation into companies, especially in health care. His diverse experience working with a wide variety of international businesses has reinforced John’s drive for the advancement and delivery of products and services that improve people’s lives. In particular, John is a strong proponent of an open exchange of data and information to promote better product development and decision making.

With expertise in medical science, technology and business development, John has created and implemented successful strategies for the advancement of products from therapeutics and medical devices, diagnostics, food supplements, internet services and software development through R&D planning, licensing, acquisitions, improving operational effectiveness, and leading operations, sales and marketing teams.

When not working on client engagements, John enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his other passions, photography and fly fishing. He always has a Doc Spratley in his fly box.

Reading the Water

Successful fly fishing is not just about casting your line anywhere in the stream. There are strategic decisions to be made, like choosing the right fly and casting it to where the fish are likely to be. These decisions are best supported by measured, scientific observation of the environment and extensive experience. Understanding what the fish are eating allows for strategic fly choice, and this coupled with learning the areas trout prefer in a stream or “reading the water” will increase your chances of catching fish.
